Obesity

My painting final is to paint an "occurrence" which is supposedly a disaster or something that affects a lot of people. A lot of the people in the class chose to do war or some huge natural disaster which for whatever reason I found to be somewhat cliche. So I chose to tackle the subject of the battle between anorexia and obesity which is inspired by Anna Wintour when she was asked about anorexia in the modeling and fashion world to which she stated :
"More people die from obesity than they do anorexia"
I found this genious.
obesity is such an epidemic in America and the world and people choose to ignore the fact that they are unhealthy and resent those who are defined as skinny.
